LIMELIGHT by COLOR CLUB

I seem to be obsessed by Chartreuse or bright lime. I found Color Clubs, Limelight is right up my alley.
Its bold, bright and in your face gorgeous!

This above shot was in the sun but watch what happens when taken indoors, no sun light, its like its a totally different shade.

At first I thought I had been given a dud, it didn't look anything like I saw online. How can it be so differen?  It applies really smoothly, dries relatively fast. I like it so here is another shot outside.

Wow, its almost blinding, don't you think. The best part is when it got dark, I turned on my black light........now I am in Heaven!

ORLY - Oh Cabana Boy

I am not really a fan of the colour pink however on nails, I kinda like it. There are some lovely pink polishes out there and this beauty caught my eye, Orly's Oh Cabana Boy!

Its a very girlie colour, its bright, happy and sexy! It applies smoothly, two coats and your done. Add a top coat and va va voom!

You will get loads of compliments with this colour, I just love it when you see people do a double take when they see your nails. It makes me feel good that people appreciate them.

Please forgive the dirty window in the below photo, I  have to remove the mesh cover to clean it, it is on my list!

I hope you get this one, its aboslutely gorgeous!

Zoya Phoebe

I am really into the blue polishes this year. Zoya Phoebe caught my eye. It is a bright pretty blue.

The application went on really smooth. It dries fast and matte. I added a top coat, which I wish I hadnt because the matte look is gorgeous. Next time, next time!

It kind of reminds me of a sunny day, lying on the grass watching the fluffy clouds go by, lol. Silly I know!
You can buy Zoya Phoebe online, its not expensive and I am sure it will be a firm favourite if you love blue polish.

This one was taken indoors. Loving it!

GOSH RAINBOW

I have so many favourite nail polishes but my number one, best of the best is Gosh Rainbow. Sadly the manufacturers have stop making it!  I was very lucky last year to be able to find one online. I treasure it and use it very sparingly. So without further ado.... here she is!

I used a dark blue base but any dark colour will do. Gosh Rainbow flashes green, gold and red. Absolutely gorgeous.

I have found two other colours online which claim to be dupes for this colour. I got one in yesterday, Kleancolor chunky black holo. The other one has not arrived yet, it is called CND Sugar Baby.
The chunky black has glitter not flakies, like Gosh but they reflect the same way. The CND, we will have to see.

I hope that the dupes are as good as this as this is a really lovely polish. What girl doesn't want rainbows on her nails!

Acrylic Paint and Daisy's.

I bought some pretty acrylic neon paint last week. You can find them in any art and craft store, I found mine in Walmart.

I painted my nails with a base coat, my favourite, OPI Nail Envy, then once dry put on two coats of white nail polish.
The white polish will help any neon or bright colours pop. Get a fine paint brush and get started. The acrylic paint dries so fast that by the time I had painted all the orange daisy's on one hand they were dry.

Keep adding the flowers, space them out and then once done, use a black nail art pen, or polish and dot the flowers. The below shot was taken outdoors.

I decided that to finish it off, a few little green leaves placed here and there would make it perfect.

Add your favourite top coat. I love Seche Vite but I found that sometimes it shrinks when it dries and pulls the nail polish back from the tips, so lately I have been using Orly Polishshield. It dries a little slower (not by much) and doesn't shrink. Oh yes and it glows under a black light too!

Scrap book stickers!

Thanks to a very talented nail artist (Tartofraises) she gave me an idea to do a design similar to hers. I bought some scrap book sticker corner frames. They come in all sizes and designs. I bought the silver ones. I painted my nails a metallic blue and carefully placed the sticker diagonally across my nail and added a crystal. Top coat and voila la!  Enjoy.

And there you have it, simple, pretty and very unique!
